Customized Training

(STAMP OUT "BORING" Training with PTP Instructors)

Why use a customized lesson plan?  Most of the OSHA standards require site/job specific training.  So even if you've held a canned training session, you still may not be in compliance.  A partial list of OSHA standards that require site/job specific training are:

  • Hazard Communication

  • Forklift Driver Training

  • OSHA HAZWOPER – 40 hour, 24 hour, 8 hour refresher

  • Confined Space Entry

  • Lockout/Tagout (Control of Hazardous Energy)

  • Respiratory Protection

  • Blood Borne Pathogens

PTP provides customized lesson plans on a variety of other regulatory topics including:

  • RCRA Hazardous Waste Management

  • General Awareness – Environmental & Safety Topics

  • Emergency Response Procedures & Drills

  • Confined Space Entry

  • DOT Hazardous Materials Transportation Training for Shippers - covering new security requirements

We do not prepare "canned" training programs as a final product.  All of our lesson plans are tailored to fit the students, yet are cost effective to meet our clients’ budget.  Prior to developing a lesson plan, PTP works with the client to perform a "needs assessment" for the training class.  The needs assessment is a step-by-step method for specifying behavioral objectives.  The behavioral objectives then form the basis of the lesson plan.  PTP can further customize the lesson plan by incorporating illustrations that are from the Client's location.
